- 5 / 5By Rachel MartinichWe went to Don Carmelo's for my sister's birthday. We had THE BEST time! There were 7 of us so I was able to see a ton of the entrees! I ordered 3 tacos (shredded beef, shredded chicken, and shrimp.) I definitely do not recommend the shrimp. There was a weird sauce on it. The other 2 were great! Seasoned perfectly. They came with a rice of rice and refried beans. Our waiter was nice enough to sub fajita vegetables for the beans ... no questions asked :) At the table were also both chicken and steak fajitas. The steak was SO tender and the chicken looked great. My dad ordered the burrito. He's very picky with Mexican but he gobbled it right up! My sister's boyfriend ordered the short rib taco special and he said it was delicious! Definitely highly recommend this place!August 15, 2016
